Watching FOX 34 Over-The-Air

FOX 34 programming is now available on digital channel 34.1!

Using an antenna, you can watch your favorite shows like American Idol, Bones, Ellen, Two and a Half Men, FOX Sports and FOX 34 News in this improved format for free. You need a TV with a digital tuner, or a digital converter box. If you’re watching with a High Definition TV, you’ll automatically receive the HD picture on channel 34.1.

While we are still broadcasting on the older, analog channel 34, you’ll need either a TV with a digital tuner or a digital converter box to continue watching FOX 34 as well as channels 5, 11, 13, 14, 22, 28 and 46 after February 17, 2009.  At that time, these channels, like FOX 34, will be available over-the-air in digital only.

The FOX AccuWeather Channel is now available on digital channel 34.2.  While it’s also available over-the-air on analog channel 32, this will go away December 31, 2008.
From January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009, our main FOX 34 signal will be broadcast on the older, analog channel 32.

Broadcasting from our new 950-foot tower – the tallest structure on the South Plains – channels 34.1 and 34.2 deliver a much clearer, sharper picture, along with improved sound quality. Unlike the old analog form of broadcasting, the best picture quality available anywhere is free, over-the-air, using an antenna. And it’s available across the South Plains right now!
